I’m a Colorists!

The foundation of my work is colors and shapes. Painting is a way of making music each stroke and color informs of my next move. On the floor, I am more at ease. When I’m painting, I’m mostly not aware of what I’m doing, I’m surrendering and letting the flow of life guide me where the next mark or brush should be. It’s only after a get-acquainted period that I see what’s taking form and the direction that the painting might go. I’ve no fears about making changes because the painting has a life of its own and the canvas is always speaking to me.
